Colton White

Colton White
New Jersey Devils NHL
Jack Winger from Deceptive Hockey began working with Colton White at the end of his 2023-2024 season. At the time, White had already played 84 games in the NHL throughout his six seasons of pro hockey. In the summer of 2024, he signed a two-way NHL deal with the New Jersey Devils. During the season of 2024-2025, he played the entire year in the AHL for the Utica Comets. In that season, White had his second-best offensive season with no power-play time. 21 points in 61 games. Throughout the season, White worked with Jack on developing his offensive game while continuing to refine the defensive details that define him as a reliable, shutdown defenseman. While his role isn’t built around scoring, his value comes from efficiently closing plays, managing gaps, and moving pucks up ice to transition offense. This season, White was called back up into the NHL to play for New Jersey. His goal the entire time was to get back into the NHL, and he has accomplished that.
The Result: After a full season of measurable growth and consistent performance, Colton White earned a call-up and returned to the NHL with New Jersey thanks to working with Deceptive Hockey.
